A newborn baby was brought with complaints of absence of skin on the scalp. Baby was active, feeding well, with normal vitals.

Baby's preliminary neuro imaging was done, and was normal.

Baby was clinically diagnosed to have Aplasia Cutis Congenita.

Babies are born with the absence of skin layers, most often on the scalp, but also on the trunk, and/or arms and legs.
